Katherine Heigl reveals with everyone regarding her "white bubble childhood" and how it has influenced how she raises her adopted multiracial children. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said in the past that when it comes to skin colour, it doesn't really matter. But after speaking to her adopted sister in South Korea she realized just how differently society treats people of different races. "I wanted to know Meg whether she felt different when she went out with us parents than the times she was out alone. Meg responded "Oh, yes, every occasion!" Heigl revealed to Parents that it made her realize just the extent of her ignorance. According to the actress, she was angered. She wanted to channel that anger towards aiding her adopted daughters. Sheigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been together for thirteen years. In 2009, they adopted Nancy Leigh (12), one of their daughters of South Korea, and Adalaide (8 the black child) in the year 2012.
