Felicity is an English actress who gained fame for portraying Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at 12 years old. She's appeared as an actor in a variety of plays, television shows, as well as in films. Her first role was in the television film The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch (a television show) in which she appeared as Ethel Hallow. The sequel Weirdsisters college was also filmed. The first movie she appeared in, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in many movies. In The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in particular, she became a household name for her role. The actress was nominated for an Oscar first time for her role as Stephen's wife Hawking on The Theory of Everything. Jones was highly praised by both critics and audiences because she played the character of Hawking's wife as she appeared in the Stephen Hawking biopic. The film was followed by Inferno a thriller starring Tom Hanks. Jones was awarded the British Artist of 2016 award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles, due to her extraordinary ability and dedication.
